Who We Are

Northstowe Muslims aims to establish itself as a local Islamic Charitable Trust, managed by residents from Northstowe and the adjoining areas.

Our volunteers come from varied professional, cultural and ethnic backgrounds, united by a shared commitment to the wellbeing of our community.

We plan to work together with the wider community from Northstowe and the adjoining areas, to fulfil the social and spiritual needs of Muslim families, as well as members of other faiths — or no faith — living in and around Northstowe.

We are a registered UK charity. Charity No. 1203216

Our Aims

Everything we do is guided by these core goals for our community.

Fulfil the social and spiritual needs of families living in Northstowe and the surrounding areas.

Work together with other social and faith groups in organising community events.

Establish a dedicated prayer facility and shared community space open to people of all faiths and backgrounds.

Engage and work cohesively with Northstowe Town Council and South Cambridgeshire District Council.

Engage with local schools to provide support, mentorship and learning facilities for children, youth and adults.

Organise health and fitness camps for the local community.

Engage with the local council to provide a burial space for Muslims.
