Eid Al Fitr

Monday, 06 April 2026

Yesterday, Northstowe Muslims were delighted to host our Eid celebration at Western Park Pavilion, welcoming families from across the community-both Muslim and non-Muslim alike. It was truly heartwarming to see so much joy, laughter, and togetherness.

Eid is a time for connection, and the event beautifully reflected how it brings people together to celebrate with family, friends, and neighbours. We were also proud to be joined by a fantastic range of local independent businesses, whose delicious food, treats, and activities played a huge part in making the day such a success. A heartfelt thank you to: Kookie Kookie Bubble Bliss Bubble Bliss Amrutham Sana's Afghan Cuisine Flavour Burst The Grill Plug The Grill Plug Jan's Ices Lily's Inflatables Lilys Inflatables & Soft Play Veiled Henna Lizzy B's Face Painting And of course, a big thank you to all the other stallholders who brought along clothing, snacks, and unique items for everyone to enjoy. Alongside the festivities, we were pleased to support and raise awareness for important local community initiatives: • Cambourne Crescent - a Cambourne-based faith group working to raise awareness and funds for their campaign • Northstowe Church Network Faith Land Proposal - sharing information about their vision and the positive impact this proposal could bring to the wider community, a project supported by Northstowe Muslims Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to such a memorable day. It truly showcased the strength, warmth, and unity of our local community - celebrating not just Eid, but the diversity that makes Northstowe so special.
